Frau Wilke: Audio Recording

My favorite Walser piece; with Rilke’s “Young Workman’s Letter” and Katherine Anne Porter’s “Flowering Judas,” my favorite short fiction by anyone. I recommend or assign it to anyone suffering any form of loss. That final movement so perfectly captures the moods one goes through when struggling for the energy and will to return to the bright spaces of the living.
